Have you always wanted to try it, but needed an expert to feel more confident?

We will give you a theory class, then we will do some practical exercises in the pool so we can see and review what you know (you don’t need to know how to swim). Then we will show you the beautiful underwater world, either in the sea or, if you want even more, in cenotes.

Although relatively simple, beginner snorkelers should know their way around their mask and snorkel, especially to know how to clear them out in case of having water entering them. This is an essential skill, as open waves or splashes can send water into the open end of your snorkel, and masks can develop tiny leaks while being in the water. Having a mask or snorkel filled with water can be an annoying experience, so snorkelers should be comfortable with the process of clearing their equipment.

The next step in learning the basics of snorkeling is to practice while in open water, where you are not able to touch the bottom. To do this you will be assisted by our friendly and patient guide so that you can start enjoying your first sights into the underwater world as soon as possible without getting frustrated, scared or fatigued! In a couple of hours, you will be mastering these skills!
