Freediving in cenotes is unlike anything else: beams of light piercing through crystal-clear water, ancient rock formations surrounding you, and a silence so deep it feels sacred.

What’s Included:

  • Briefing and theory on cenote-specific conditions (visibility, thermocline, safety in enclosed spaces)

  • Freediving gear (mask, fins/monofin, snorkel, wetsuit, lanyard) provided or rental

  • Vertical dives under instructor supervision, practicing descending techniques, turns, buoyancy control

What’s Not Included:

  • Transportation to cenotes

  • Entry or park fees

  • Meals, lodging

  • Medical clearance

Prerequisites / Requirements:

  • Some freediving experience (e.g. AIDA 1 or equivalent)

  • Comfort in open water vertical dives

  • Ability to follow safety protocols and buddy rules

  • Medical questionnaire clearance

You’ll learn proper breathing, equalization, safety, and relaxation techniques while diving in crystal-clear freshwater surrounded by stunning rock formations and natural light.
