Between the months of October and April, these gentle giants come to the bay of La Paz to feed on plankton in its shallow, calm waters. Despite their imposing size, which can exceed 12 meters in length, the whale shark is a peaceful creature and harmless to humans. Diving or snorkeling with them is a breathtaking experience: watching their enormous silhouette gliding elegantly underwater and swimming alongside them is a moment of pure connection with nature.
