Cenote Freediving Training

Freediving in cenotes is unlike anything else: beams of light piercing through crystal-clear water, ancient rock formations surrounding you, and a silence so deep it feels sacred. Check the prices in the description.

What’s Included:

  • Briefing and theory on cenote-specific conditions (visibility, thermocline, safety in enclosed spaces)

  • Freediving gear (mask, fins/monofin, snorkel, wetsuit, lanyard) provided or rental

  • Vertical dives under instructor supervision, practicing descending techniques, turns, buoyancy control

What’s Not Included:

  • Transportation to cenotes

  • Entry or park fees

  • Meals, lodging

  • Medical clearance

Prerequisites / Requirements:

  • Some freediving experience (e.g. AIDA 1 or equivalent)

  • Comfort in open water vertical dives

  • Ability to follow safety protocols and buddy rules

  • Medical questionnaire clearance

CENOTE SNORKEL (Puerto Morelos)

Cenotes are natural freshwater wells that were formed thousands of years ago. These bodies of water, considered sacred by the ancient Maya, are found mainly in the Yucatan Peninsula. Cenotes can be open, semi-open or completely enclosed in the form of caves, and each type offers a unique snorkeling experience. Includes:
  • Snorkel in cenote for 1hr
  • All equipment

You’ll drift through passages carved by thousands of years, surrounded by limestone formations that glow softly under your light. Includes:
